In the year 2007 in consumer electronic show the first NFC powered device was launched by Nokia called Nokia 6131. That device was particularly designed for bill payments and shopping payments using NFC. But it was completely a flop.

NFC or Near Field Technology is one of the latest wireless connectivity solutions for latest gadgets that are seen in the market. These NFC enabled devises help to share files from one device to another device with the help of single
touch between 2 devices but a condition arises that both the device should be NFC enabled. The NFC make use of the field created by the 2 devices inorder to share files.

NFC is build with the help of RFID which will be present in both devices. These RFID module will be producing sufficient required field around the devices. When these field comes nearer to each other that is about an inch these RFID module gets dectected and starts to share the file.

But comparing with the Bluetooth it had got less transfer speed about 400kbps which is very less compared to Bluetooth. But the advantage is that there is no need to pair with the 2 devices. Sometimes there is problem arises with the Bluetooth that is inability to pair with the devices. By using the NFC it is clearly removed.

In the year 2007  in consumer electronic show the first NFC powered device was launched by Nokia called Nokia 6131. That device was particularly designed for bill payments and shopping payments using NFC. But it was completely a flop. Again the same company Nokia released the same technology through Nokia N9. which was capable of file sharing. The same technology was in co operated with many android device with a name called android beam. Not only for file sharing NFC has lot of applications like multiplayer gaming, NFC calls, messenger services.

NFC are also used in credit and debit cards as a result no need to swipe the card so the card won’t get damaged.
